Wayne McKinney Obituary

It is with great sadness to announce the death of Wayne McKinney, age 68, on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Wayne was known as a true music enthusiast! He loved performing for his staff and peers at home and at his day program. He was famous for performing solo acts, using his vocals as well as his guitar in which he was oh so passionate about. One of his favorite things to do was play musical trivia with staff members. Wayne was also known for assigning your "musical lookalike" or "celebrity twin" Wayne's musical preferences included but were not limited to Journey, the Jackson's, and other classical 80s hits.

Wayne spread immense joy just about anywhere he went. He was known for his warm smile and charm... Especially with the ladies. Wayne was also known as a jokester... He enjoyed interacting in this way with staff and peers.

Some likes/interests/preferences included: all things music, favorite beverage was milk, favorite food was baked beans, and ironically despite all of the solo musical performances and acts- he appreciated his peace and quiet in the evenings.

Wayne will be sadly missed and will forever live in the hearts of all who knew him.
