Susan Chapin

Susan Chapin (July 31, 1968 – October 14, 2023)

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Susan Riesinger Chapin, age 55, on Saturday, October 14, 2023. She was born on July 31, 1968 in Somerville, NJ.  She resided in New Jersey all her life.

Susan was a graduate of The Midland School and attended Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High School.  She loved pets, most especially cats and enjoyed her many hobbies and crafts. Above all, Susan loved spending time with her family and friends.

Susan is survived by her brother, Ronnie Riesinger of Edison NJ, her step father John Kovalchick of Vass, North Carolina, her boyfriend Philip Henderson, her former husband Milton Chapin, and her many cherished friends: AnneMarie Carr, Donna Varsalone, Yolanda Velez, Harry and Scott and so many others.

She is predeceased by her mother Rose Irene Riesinger Kovalchick of Vass, North Carolina, her grandparents Anthony and Theresa Tucciarone and her step brother Michael Kovalchick, of Martinsville, NJ.

Susan will be remembered as a kind, sweet person who will be dearly missed by her many friends and family.
