Sanford W. Sage

HILLSBOROUGH-  It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Sandford Warren Sage, 73, on Saturday, May 13, 2023.  He was born in Jamaica Queens, NY on October 8, 1949 to the late Florence and Warren Sage.  

Sandford was a retired Police Officer of the Somerville Borough Police Department. He was Sniper Team Leader and founding team member with the Special Weapons and Tactics Unit (S.W.A.T.) of Somerset County Emergency Response. Sandy was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap and skeet shooting.  He had a passion for running heavy machinery and customizing his Harley.  All who know Sandy will miss his keen sense of humor. 

Sanford is survived by his brother Richard (Donna), niece Tanya, nephew Kyle, his cherished Pointers Josephine and Bella, his extended family and friends.
