BRIDGEWATER-  It is with great sadness to announce the death of Richard "Richie" A. Kowaleski, age 64, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.  He was born on July 26, 1961 in Somerville, NJ to the late Helen and Edward Kowaleski.

Richard attended Bridgewater Raritan High School and Hunterdon Occupational Training School.  He was employed for 26 years at Somerset County Recycling Center retiring in 2014.  In his spare time, Richie enjoyed animals, riding his ATV, and would be seen daily riding his 3 wheel bike to work.  Above all, he enjoyed spending time with all his friends.  Richard was a gentle man with a dynamic personality and his enthusiasm will forever live in the hearts of all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife Karen (nee Latzko), his loving siblings Edward Kowalski, Jr. and wife Theresa, Joann Balliro and husband Sebastian and Judith Olzvyk, and his 4 nephews and 4 nieces.  He is predeceased by his parents and a niece Krista.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
