Rebecca “Becky” Knight, 72, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021.  She was born on April 25, 1948 to Dorothy Penn and the late William Knight.  She lived in Manville, NJ for most of her life.  

Becky graduated from Somerville High School.  She has worked as an engineer and a book editor.  She was a lover of classic cars and everything 50’s.  Becky enjoyed car shows, antiques, and collecting memorabilia.  She was an avid animal lover and adored many cats and dogs throughout her life.  She loved her pets as her children.  Becky was smart, funny, and enthusiastic.  She was also artistic and quick-witted.  She enjoyed writing silly poems and cartoons and sharing them with her niece and nephew.  She had a very close relationship with her mother throughout her life and enjoyed her friendships.   

Becky is survived by her mother, Dorothy Penn of The Villages, Fl and her sister, Krystal Pierrot, and husband, Randy, of The Villages, Fl.  She is also survived by her niece, nephew, two great nephews, and great niece.  

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Somerset Regional Animal Shelter 100 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.  Services will be private.
