BRIDGEWATER- It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Oscar Juan Zegarra Herrera, 73, formerly of Manville, NJ passed on Friday, January 27, 2023 with his family by his side. Oscar was born August 29, 1949 to Edilberto Zegarra and Guillermina Herrera. He was raised in Arequipa, Peru. Oscar came to live in Somerville, NJ in 1988. He was married twice and had 4 children. Oscar enjoyed gardening, collecting car parts and loved Peruvian food. He is predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters Dora and Margot and a brother Hernan. Oscar is survived by wife Isabel Pasapera, sons Oscar and John and daughter-in-law Ada and daughters Daly and Yajayra, a granddaughter Yoshi and a grandson Matthew, 2 sisters Nancy and Isela, his brothers Edilberto, Paul, Mauro, Arnulfo and several brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins in which he loved all so dearly.
A Visitation to Celebrate Oscar's life will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the funeral home of Cuoco Funeral & Cremation Services 10 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ (908) 707-2058. Committal service is private
