Judith Marie Kurzeja

Bridgewater - Judith S. Kurzeja, 74, entered eternal life on Monday, May 9, 2022. She was born in September 1947 to the late Anne and John Semchyshyn in Somerville, NJ. Judie enjoyed living in the Bound Brook / Bridgewater area her entire life. 
Judie married the love of her life, Ron Kurzeja, in 1983. After retiring from her career as a legal secretary from Hoechst Celanese, she enjoyed gardening and spending time at the Jersey Shore. Her annual crop of fresh Jersey tomatoes, which always exceeded 300 pounds a year, were generously shared with neighbors, family, and friends. She also enjoyed cooking with her homegrown vegetables as well as traditional holiday meals for her family. Judie adored animals, especially her beloved dogs. Judie was a kind and loving person who will forever be in the hearts of all who knew her. 
Judie is survived by her beloved husband Ron, a sister-in-law Joann Peisecki, as well as her nieces and nephews Christopher Lindsay, Allison Beck, John Dilzell, Sharon Kaplan, and Kenny Peisecki. She was predeceased by her sisters Patricia LIndsay and Diane Dilzell.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations in Judie's memory can be made to the St Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ.
