Frances "Fran" Margaret Saad

Whiting NJ-    Frances “Fran” Margaret Saad, 82, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2018.   Fran was born in New York City to the late Paul and Jeannette Yaworski. 

Fran grew up in New York City and lived in Warren and Bayville NJ prior to settling for the last 20 years in Whiting (Manchester Twsp) NJ.  She was a homemaker throughout her life.  For over 34 years Fran attended AA meetings three times a week and was proud to be a sponsor to many individuals whom she called friends.  She was known to all as a person who loved having fun no matter what she was doing.  She was skilled in needlepoint and enjoyed sewing personal items for family and friends.  Fran loved going to the movies and had a special place in her heart for animals.  Fran also loved Broadway and attended numerous plays over her lifetime.  Fran enjoyed the time she spent with the late Joseph Stankard who was her loyal companion and friend of 16 years. 

Fran was predeceased by her husband Robert who passed away July 21, 1996. 

She is survived by her loving daughters Donna Matusik (Frank), Bayville NJ and Laura Wolfe (Jeff), Somerset NJ, grandchildren Ashley Muentnich (Ryan) and Paul Van Jura and great grandchildren Ryan, Vincent and Kyrin.  Fran will also be dearly missed by her friend Sharl Norton who was like a daughter to her.       

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 21, 2018 at 10:30am at the Bound Brook Cemetery 500 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook NJ.
