Ed worked with Electronics his whole life and was a Cleanroom Assembly Technician at Ultra Herley Whippany NJ. He was a parishioner of Mary Mother of God Catholic Church in Hillsborough NJ.   A devout baseball fan, he enjoyed watching the NY Yankees and attending Somerset Patriots games.  Ed always had a camera with him and took many pictures at the Patriots games, which he often gave to the players.   He had eclectic taste in music and two of his favorite groups were the Beatles and the Grateful Dead.  He also enjoyed playing the guitar in his spare time.  Ed was a patriot and assisted our military by being involved in Operation Shoebox.  A self-taught artist, Ed will be remembered mostly for his artistic endeavors, drawing his own Christmas cards for family and friends every year and also creating shadow boxes of many sports figures.    Ed enjoyed spending time with his brother, sisters and his many nieces and nephews.  He was loved by all of them.  Ed was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many, and he will be truly missed.

Ed is survived by his loving siblings, sister Patricia Dobrzelecki (Daniel) of Bayville NJ, sister Linda Krug of Toms River NJ, sister Anna Marusiak (Frank) of Annandale NJ, sister Helen Konopka of South Bound Brook NJ and brother Richard Konopka (Lisa) of Kearny NJ.  He is also survived by his biggest fans, his many nieces and nephews.
