BRIDGEWATER- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christina Marie Scafuto, age 35, a lifelong resident of Bridgewater, on Sunday, October 12, 2025.  She was born in Somerville, NJ to the late Nancy and Aniello “Neil” Scafuto on November 17, 1989.

Christina lived a life of love, family and dedication.  She is a graduate of Bridgewater Raritan High School, Class of 2008.   Christina consistently provided expert advice on shopping, fashion, and makeup trends, helping customers in Macy’s find products that suited their personal style.  She enjoyed watching Disney movies that made her laugh, dancing to express herself after a long day, and listening to music that lifted her spirits.  Proud of her Italian heritage, Christina shared her culture through her cooking and made sure to pass down treasured family recipes. Throughout the years, she enjoyed practicing Karate, soccer, observing butterflies in her garden, and caring for animals.  Christina donated for years to various animal organizations.  Many who knew her will remember meeting up with her at Wawa.  Ultimately, she looked forward to sharing her passion for life with her fiancé Nikki. 

Christina will be sadly missed by her loving brother Joe Scafuto and wife Heather, her cherished niece Madison Rose Scafuto, her beloved fiancé Nicolette “Nikki” Angelina Murillo, many uncles, aunts and cousins.  A heartfelt appreciation to her dear Uncle Vinny, who has been a steadfast advocate for Christina’s quality of life over these last nine months.  She is predeceased by her parents.

A visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be Saturday, October 18, 2025 beginning with a visitation from 9:00am to 10:00am at the funeral home, a Funeral Mass 10:30am at the St. Ann Roman Catholic Church 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ followed by a final committal service at Somerset Hills Memorial Park 95 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ.
