Cecilia Faith Brizuela passed away unexpectedly on December 10, 2021, at the age of 8 in a house fire at her home in Somerville, NJ. 

Born on August 5, 2013, Cece was an outgoing, loving and thoughtful third grader. She was always ready for a chat and was often found leaving notes of encouragement to her family and friends. She loved her classmates and teachers at Van Derveer Elementary School, and spent most of her years dancing at Elite Dance center on Gaston Ave. She lived up to her name, having a “blind faith” in Jesus Christ; her family lovingly called her a “little preacher” from the time that she could talk. She also enjoyed being outdoors, swimming, and always had a knack for being a best friend to anyone — especially her big sister.

Cece is survived by her loving parents, Rebecca Brizuela of Somerville and Jorge Brizuela of Middlesex; her sister Juliana (9); her maternal grandparents Steve and Pam Nash of Flemington; her paternal grandparents Fred and Jazmin Llaverias of Bridgewater; and many many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

The public is welcome to visit the family and pay their respect on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, to honor this sweet girl at the First Baptist Church, 132 West High Street, Somerville NJ between 12:00pm and 4:00pm.
