Anibal N. Melo

BOUND BROOK-  Anibal N. Melo, 69, died on Saturday, July 31, 2021.  He was born on March 29, 1952 to the late Helena and Edson De Melo in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.

Anibal was the eldest of 11 children.  He graduated as a Professor in Brazil.  Anibal was an intellectual man especially with electronics.  He could build motherboards for computers.    When Anibal came to the United States, he took great pride in all that he did and dedicated his time working endlessly for the Bound Brook Revitalization.  He truly enjoyed working, gardening, planting, reading, animals and spending time with family and friends.  Anibal will be sadly missed by all who knew him.    

Anibal is survived by his beloved children Anibal, Jr., Abel, Abimael, Andreza, Adrianna, Andrea and Andre, 13 cherished grandchildren Nathan, Lucas, Leah, Ariana, Arisa, Alaric, Cayla and Aidan, Leila, Artemis, Agnes, Artur, Manuela, Alexandre, Leticia, Juao, 9 siblings Asdrubal, Ariadne, Artemisa, Aristoteles, Aurilena, Adriano, Alberto, Alfredo, Adelaide and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Alexandre..

A Celebration of Anibal’s life will be 10AM on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Hydewood Park Baptist Church 100 Norwood Avenue, North Plainfield, NJ.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cuoco Funeral & Cremation Services 10 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ (908) 707-2058.
