Theresa "Terri" (Gaehler) Koping

Theresa “Terri” Koping, 93, Three Bridges NJ, died peacefully on Tuesday morning November 6, 2018 at the Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater NJ.  She was born on January 22, 1925 to her dear parents Mathilda “Tilli” and Charles Gaehler.  Terri lived in the Three Bridges section of Readington Twsp for the past 30 years.   She also lived in Bridgewater Twsp and Ocean City NJ a place she truly loved. Terri was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and entertaining.  She had a special love for the New Jersey shore.   Something very special in her life was the lifetime friendships she shared with so many.  Terri was a very giving person and donated blood whenever she could.   She received awards for the amount of blood she donated during her lifetime.  Terri’s heart led her to helping people.  She donated her time for over thirty years driving cancer patients to their doctor appointments for the American Cancer Society.  Terri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her especially the friends and family that bonded and supported her throughout her long life. 

Terri is survived by her loving son Kent and his wife Debra of Somerset NJ.  She will be sadly missed by the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Michael and his wife Melissa of Franklin Park NJ and Andrew and his wife Kimberly of Bordentown NJ and her great-grandchild Henley. 

Terri was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter Myron Koping (1980).

A funeral service will be held at Somerset Hills Memorial Park 95 Mt Airy Road Basking Ridge NJ on Friday November 9, 2018 between 11:00am and 11:30am. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Terri’s name to the American Cancer Society.
