Con corazones apesadumbrados ​​y la tristeza más profunda, anunciamos que nuestro hijo precioso y hermano, Andrés Sebastián, descansa en paz. El 4 de octubre de 2019, partió de este viaje por la vida para explorar un universo completamente diferente.

Andrés, o como más tarde quería ser llamado Dres, nació el 4 de mayo de 1994 de madre Amparo y padre Juan Guillermo, en Bogotá, Colombia.

A Andrés le encantaba el fútbol. En 2014, logró su sueño de ver a la Selección colombiana jugar en la Copa Mundial de la FIFA. Con su personalidad carismática, sostuvo en alto su bandera colombiana atrayendo a mucha gente hacia él. También era un devoto fanático de los Eagles de Filadelfia. Después de casi 20 años de ser fanático del fútbol americano, el 4 de febrero de 2018, Andrés vio a sus Eagles ganar el Super Bowl.

En la película, Star Wars dicen la frase "La fuerza es fuerte con él". Su amor por Star Wars, junto con la fecha de su cumpleaños, se convirtió en un mantra para todo relacionado con Andrés.

Era un alma brillante, que emitía su afecto a todos los que lo rodeaban. Era un ávido lector y escritor ardiente. Equipado con su inteligencia y sarcasmo, era fácilmente el más ingenioso en todo lugar.

A Andrés le precedieron sus abuelos Venancio Cardoso y Horacio Villa, y el tío Venancio (Chelo) Cardoso. Le sobreviven sus padres, Amparo y Juan Guillermo, su hermana Zasha Alexandra y una gran cantidad de familiares y amigos.

Somerville Funeral Home ha sido encargada de los arreglos del funeral. Celebraremos la vida de Andrés en Somerville Funeral Home, ubicado en 10 W End Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876 (908) 725-2079 el domingo 6 de octubre de 2019 de 6:30 p.m. a 8:30 p.m. Todos los que deseen compartir recuerdos y celebrarlo pueden vestir en su camiseta favorita de fútbol o fútbol americano.

El servicio (misa) se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción, ubicada en 35 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876, el lunes 7 de octubre de 2019 a las 10:00 a.m.

It is with heavy hearts and the deepest sorrow we announce our precious son and brother, Andrés Sebastián, is resting in peace. On October 4, 2019, he departed this journey in life to explore a whole other universe.

Andrés, or as he later wanted to be called Dres, was born on May 4, 1994 to parents Amparo and Juan Guillermo, in Bogota, Colombia.

Andrés loved fútbol/soccer. In 2014, he achieved his dream of seeing the Colombian National Team play in the FIFA World Cup. Being his charismatic self, he held his Colombian flag high and attracted so many people to him. He was also a devoted Eagles fan. After almost 20 years of fraught American Football fandom, on February 4, 2018, Andrés watched his Eagles win the Super Bowl.

The force is strong with this one. His love for Stars Wars coupled with his birthday became a mantra for all things Andrés.

May the Fourth be with you

He was a brilliant soul, emitting his warmth to all those around him. He was an avid reader and ardent writer. Equipped with his intelligence and sarcasm, he was easily the wittiest one in any room.

Andrés was predeceased by grandfathers Venancio Cardoso and Horacio Villa and uncle Venancio (Chelo) Cardoso. He is survived by his parents, Amparo and Juan Guillermo, sister Zasha Alexandra, and a host of family and friends.

Somerville Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home, located at 10 W End Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876, on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. All who wish to share memories and celebrate him may wear a favorite soccer or football jersey.

The service (mass) will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, located at 35 Mountain Ave, Somerville, NJ 08876, on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
